I am a piano teacher formerly based in Pittsburgh PA now living in Lancaster PA.
I offer piano/keyboard lessons for children and adults of all musical levels. My goal as a teacher is to make each student’s experience positive and rewarding. I strive to make each lesson fun and educational.
I offer private piano lessons during the school year at my Manheim Township Home in Lancaster PA.
Music has always been a big part of my life. I began taking piano lessons at the age of 5 and have been enjoying playing ever since! During high school, I accompanied the school choir, played for the school musicals and was in several local bands. I have played for weddings, receptions and concerts, and have been on the worship team for several churches. I have done composing, arranging and recording on several CD’s as well as computer games and apps.
I have been teaching piano for 35 years. I also have 10 years experience teaching pre-school and have taught a group piano course for children at the local community college. This experience as well as the practical experience I gained playing in a variety of situations has helped me to prepare my students for the musical opportunities that come their way. I have students as young as 5 and adults who are playing into their 80’s. Several of my students have gone on to be music teachers themselves or performing artists.

I utilize my years of training, teaching and performing to give each student the tools they need to be able to play for their own enjoyment or perform as a soloist or in groups. I desire for each student to enjoy playing the piano and to be an overall well versed musician.
