Personalized one-on-one instruction for students five years old and up
The method books I like to use with younger children are either the Faber Piano Adventures or Bastian Piano Basics.
Each week the student will work on pieces from the Lesson, Theory and Technique Books which complement and reinforce each other. I will add a Christmas book in season, and other fun books or sheets that interest each individual student. I will also introduce scales and chords when they are ready.
I like to use the Faber Accelerated Course with older beginners. It moves at a quicker pace and will have you playing pieces you enjoy and recognize in no time at all!
I also like to incorporate music that you are interested in playing.
Adults and busy teens have the choice of a half hour weekly lesson or a 45 minute bi-weekly lesson.
For students who have progressed to level four I suggest a 45 minute weekly lesson. I continue to stress technique and theory but design the lesson based on your goals and musical taste.
If you've taken lessons in the past and have a different method book you like, I will be glad to use that. Whatever level you are at, I will move at a pace that is comfortable for you to make playing the piano a fun and rewarding experience!
I offer a monthly discount for the second member of each family taking lessons.

All lessons are pre-paid on a monthly basis.
Payments are due the first lesson of each month.
Depending on the day of the week and month, you may have 3, 4, or 5 lessons.
Payment would be charged accordingly.
If you are unable to make your lesson, please call or text me to let me know. Lessons that are cancelled 24 hours in advanced may be rescheduled for a future day / time. If sufficient notice is not given, you will be billed for the lesson.
I offer private piano lessons during the school year at my Manheim Township Home in Lancaster, PA.
I graduated from Duquesne University where I studied classical and jazz piano.

I was a student of Miss Annette’s for over two years. I started when I was 6 years old. At first, I was nervous, but Miss Annette was patient and made learning the beginning of piano fun. She gave me a chart and stickers. Every time I practiced the length of time I was assigned, I got to put a sticker. When it was filled, I got to pick a prize from Miss Annette.
